Monroe is the Head Athletic Trainer at Tenneesee St University in Nashville, TN where he has served in this position for 8 years. Prior to his arrival at Tennesse State University, Abram was an assistant athletic trainer at Morehouse College, and Savannah State University. A graduate of the University of Georgia, Abram also has a Master's degree from Springfield College in MA.

Abram is a member of the State of Tennessee Athletic Trainers' Board. A recipient of the State College Athletic Trainer of the year award in 2004 by the Tennessee Athletic Trainers' Society, Abram has also been honored with the Abover the Call Award in 2005. for the last 8 yrs
